Candidate Profile:
Age: 18-37 years as on 01-01-14
Pay: Rs. 9300- 34800+ GP 3600/-
Qualification: Secondary Examination of a recognised Board and 3 year Diploma in Automobile Engineering or 3 year diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education OR Any qualification in either of the above disciplines declared equivalent by the Central Government or State Government
Experience: 1 year in a reputed Automobile Workshop which undertakes repairs of both light motor vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger motor vehicles fitted with petrol and diesel engines
Others: Possess driving License authorising him to drive Motor cycle, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger vehicles
Syllabus of test will consist of three papers. Paper-I will include General Knowledge and Everyday Science questions carrying 100 Marks. Paper-II will consist of Language Test carrying 100 Marks. Paper-III will be from Automobile and Mechanical Engineering carrying 200 Marks. Duration of paper I and II will be of 120 minutes while of paper III will be of 180 minutes. A Personality and Viva-Voce Examination will also be conducted
