McGraw Hill Financial is recruiting for the post of Application Developer (Open VMS) in Gurgaon.Candidate profile: Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Having min. 3-5 years of experience in software development in a OpenVMS 'C, Relational Database (Oracle preferred) environment. Must have very good application programming skills on multi-tier architecture systems and be delivery-focused. Preferable to have worked on solutions related to BFSI domain.
Skills: should have Extensive experience and strong understanding of OpenVMS, 'C', Oracle, DCL. Very good working knowledge of design patterns, system architecture, object-oriented design, and understanding of Service Oriented Architectures. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile preferred).
Hands on experience in the development environment, including IDE, web server, application server, source control system, unit-testing tool and defect management tool.
Should have knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS3, Unix is desirable.
